Job Description:
We are seeking a customer focused candidate who has significant experience with the following technologies:
  • MUST HAVE Top Secret Clearance.
  • CERTIFICATION: Must have Certified Open Stack Administrator
    Managing, Installing, configuring, deploying, troubleshooting and administering OpenStack platform and its associated modules
  • Deploy the OpenStack Enterprise authentication
  • Experience in Monitoring, performing Health Checks, installing patches
  • Experience in monitoring overall infrastructure security and availability, and monitoring of space and capacity usage including compute clusters, block storage, and object storage
  • Orchestration using Heat, Ansible, Puppet.
  • Automated Provisioning and App Servers Configuration using Puppet and Chef
  • Very Strong Linux skillset Capable of administrative tasks and complex troubleshooting
  • installation of packages, patches, maintenance & updates on Linux
  • Perl, Shell scripting, Python, and Scripting against RESTful APIs
  • Virtualization technologies such as VMWare
  • Container-based technologies such as LXC, LXD and Docker
  • Public Key Infrastructures and of certificate deployment/troubleshooting
  • Dell server hardware and enterprise storage management and configurations
  • Public Key Infrastructures and of certificate deployment/troubleshooting
  • Software Defined Network and Network Function Virtualization
Roles and Responsibility:
  • Deploy and test OpenStack cloud
  • Troubleshoot encountered issues and provide solutions.
  • Contribute to deployment and administrative repositories through creating Puppet manifests, Shell scripts, Python scripts etc.
  • Design and implement/customize OpenStack features, fix defects and provide improvements wherever required in Python
  • Understand OpenStack ecosystem, engage in discussions with the OpenStack community, implement best practices
  • Participate in agile practices
  • Apply best-practices and standards
  • Must be customer focused, proactive and responsive to changing requirements
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics to management and non-technical audience
