Pedigo Staffing Services is seeking a seasoned Domino Database Administrator to support Case Management Tracking System. This full-time contractor role over a one-year period, focusing on preventative maintenance, emergency support, design guidance, and future upgrade planning for the Lotus/IBM Domino environment.
Perform routine preventative maintenance on Domino 8.x–12.x servers, including patching and health checks.
Act as the on-call backup to in-house DBA for incident response, fail-over recovery, and system restoration.
Troubleshoot performance issues at the database and server level, applying fixes and performance-tuning best practices.
Collaborate on architecture reviews, design improvements, and version upgrade plans for Domino clusters and standalone instances.
Document all maintenance activities, incident resolutions, and upgrade procedures in weekly status reports.
Participate in quarterly review meetings to propose continuous improvements and monitor key performance indicators.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on administration of Lotus/IBM Domino servers (versions 8.x through 12.x).
Demonstrated track record of Domino upgrades, schema changes, and architectural enhancements with zero downtime.
Proven skills in backup/recovery processes, including Domino Directory replication and server clustering.
Strong troubleshooting capability for Domino server failures, replication conflicts, and mail routing issues.
Familiarity with Domino Designer, Domino Administrator, and Notes/Domino troubleshooting tools.
Excellent communication skills, able to liaise with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
IBM Domino Certified Administrator or equivalent vendor certification.
Experience with high-availability architectures: multi-node Domino clusters and server fail-over setups.
Background in public sector or corrections-oriented IT environments.
Prior exposure to compliance requirements under the Texas Public Information Act and PD-29 security protocols.
Willingness to undergo fingerprinting, criminal background checks, and routine drug screening.
Adherence to all security procedures while on facility premises, including escorted deliveries, contraband policies, and dress code.
Enrollment in E-Verify and in good standing under Texas Government Code suspension/debarment rules.
Agreement to Public Information Act disclosure obligations and prohibition on unapproved AI usage in service delivery.
Term: Date of award through August 31, 2026
Hours: Scheduled weekdays 8 am–5 pm CST, plus on-call support
Onboarding: Resource mobilization within 24 hours of contract execution
