Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the services of 1 QA Engineer Automated 3, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of QA Engineer Automated 3, Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.

All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission  and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Texas Health and Human Services Commission will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).

The contractor will be responsible for performing tests of application workflow processes for the LTC M&O (Long-term Care Maintenance and Operations) in the Texas Unified Licensure Information Portal (TULIP). 

Requied/Preferred: 

• 8 years, Required -Skilled with Database query languages (SQL, PL/SQL)
• 8 years, Required - Strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users.
• 8 years, Required - Strong background in developing test suites in UFT or similar tool.
• 6 years, Preferred - Skilled in developing Requirements Traceability Matrices.
• 6 years, Preferred - Skilled in developing and executing Test Scripts.
• 6 years, Preferred - Skilled in developing Test Plans and coordinating User Acceptance Testing.
• 6 years, Preferred - Experience with general IT SDLC processes.
• 4 years, Preferred - Experience using JIRA for managing project/sprint tasks.
• 4 years, Preferred - Working in a Agile SDLC environment.
• 4 years, Preferred - Experience using Jira to track work assignments.
• 1 years, Preferred - Experience working on projects utilizing agile project management methodologies.
