Description:
Immediate opening in a large healthcare facility for a Contract Administration Specialist.
Duties:
- Liaison between stakeholders: vendors, procurement, legal, operating departments
- Create, edit, and update contract administration program tools
- Manage contract renewals and amendments
- Train staff of compliance with procurement policies and procedures
- Coordinate and communicate legal issues with procurement staff, legal staff, and management
- Analyze contract planning, development, and management
- Revise, prepare procurement documents, change orders and task orders
- Manage compliance with certification requirements, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures
- Review legal documents and coordinate development of legal templates with legal department as needed.
- Perform best practices by identifying process improvement and streamlining activities
- Encourage Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) vendor outreach and education
REQUIRED/PREFERRED SKILLS:
- 3 years - Required, knowledge of contract negotiations and development best practices and principles
- 3 years - Required, knowledge of public sector purchasing best practices and principles
- 3 years - Required, experience with contracts coordination managing several projects
- 3 years - Required, modified terms and conditions, issuing admendments to contracts, change orders, task orders
- 3 years - Required, experience developing SOP's, standard operating procedures
- 3 years - Required, experience participating and managing contract development process
- 4 years - Required, High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years - Preferred, experience managing for a governmental agency contract renewals, contract development
- 3 years - Preferred, experience using Periscope Contract Lifecycle Management tool
- 3 years - Preferred, accredited public purchasing certification program
- 4 years - Preferred, Bachelors or Associates Degree
